I had a crappy Apollo Turbo Mag, i'd have killed for a Mag Burner, or maybe a Super Tuff burner...

Imagine how much faster you'd have thought you could go with all that gear on board. In reality, it was probably all powered by one of those massive 6v power packs with the springy contacts on top and weighed in at about 1Kg!

I knew it would still be on the Forum somewhere - Mr Molehill (although somewhat different in the folicular region these days) seated on his ferocious steed!

Maybe you should try a slightly larger frame size Matt!!

How on earth do most of you go so bloody fast?
I suggest your times on the above bike for 26 miles in 2hr12m at 11.7mph are better than our best road runners can achieve for a marathon

Sadly (for me) it's looks like I may qualify for this title. I mostly only cycle to get from A to B locally (3-4 mile rides) but having picked up a slight injury of Sat. I'm trying not to run for a week and thought I'd do a bit on the bike to stay fit. Two rides so far - only 13 and 14 miles, averaging 9.7 mph I do only have a cheap hybrid so I can dream I'd be so much faster on an expensive road bike!
