I think the idea will be a slow sociable plod of indeterminate length as a justification for a few pints after (or before/during).
I'm in MCR. The idea was for forumites that don't race to meet other forumites whether they race or not.
If you're not interested in meeting these people and you'll only turn up if it's a race then to be honest I'm not right arsed about meeting you. :thunbdown:
Essentially this event is not about the run it's self, but putting a face to the names. There's a few characters on this forum and it would be good if we could all meet up once in a while.

I'll lead a slow run round the upper don/ bleaklow area if you like then we can retire to the Plumbums pub.
if it's a forumite run we should end up in a forumites pub
We could have regional meet.....great idea but most of you a lang way from canny auld Sunderland.

How about a Friday evening, find a pub where we can camp and I'm sure most of us can wangle off an hour or two on a Friday pm to get there.
It would open up the Dales then which is reasonably accessible to most in an hour or two.
Camp, Dales, Run, Beer Sounds just about right

What about the bunk barn and tenty area behind the Station at Ribblehead? Good beer, good food, award-winning pork pies...:thumbup:
