...oh, I forgot to mention it's right bang on the Settle - Carlisle line, so easy access to loads of different running areas...

We could all arrange a piss up in Manchester after the derby - what could go wrong?

I'm sure you and Danbert could have a pint and discuss the outcome of the game amicably enough together

Oh yeah. Such a good idea, but kept forgetting to do anything about it. Doubt this is the year either, I'm far too busy: long working hours, studying for professional qualification with the job, just started my PT training (cos insurance stinks and I want out!), as well as training for a 100miler this summer. Not a lot of free time. *violins*

However, all agreed this seems a good idea: social trot followed by drinks. Few suggestions but no firm deciision on locale/routes etc. I'll step up and agree to organise something of the sort over Pendle: one date, choice of couple of routes to cater for all, few pints in The Pendle Inn.

Don't like this? Over to you...!

    I'll go for that.

How about though £15 fee, free T shirt with your forumite name on, whether you race or not. All surplus goes to Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue.

Assuming Pendle it is, I'll set out a few dates and see who can make it. If t-shirts are wanted, I'll have to delegate that. WP?
