    Gonna have a run over Kinder tomorrow pm. What are the conditions like or am I likely to be swallowed up?????

    You'll be fine. Last weekend it was soft enough to plant cotton grass (try not to trample on too many of the little babies!) but firm enough for some decent times in the Kinder Trog.

    Just don't expect to finish with clean shoes!

    What route are you planning?

    From Edale to Upper Booth along the Pennine way to Kinder downfall, over Kinder Scout, Grindsbrook Clough and home.
    Although my meeting time in nearby Buxton may change!!!! Bugger, no consideration! they may even want me to work in the afternoon!!!

    Ok, you might get a bit mucky once you leave the Kinder River and head over the top to Grindsbrook, but it shouldn't be too bad. Hope you have a good day out!
