    Mearley Clough

Any one doing this short but 'ard one, then?

As I live nearby I feel I ought to. Might keep ahead of Blue this year (fat chance )

Usually very good free pasta supper at the Calf's Head when you've finished (not bad beer, either)

Smattering of us Wharfedalers aiming on getting across...all subject to skiiving early enough from work
...there's a hill nearby missing its fool...

    Yes, I'll be there.

It's a good course, good food and excellent Jennings beer afterwards.

Remember to take your full kit. The race is classified 'AS' and the weather forecast is not good so Geoff, the organiser, might enforce the full kit rule.

As he once said on the start line a couple of years ago: "No kit, no race, no pasta supper"

    Be warned !

Torn between this and Rossendale RC 10 mile TT on bike. Will go for a short run at lunch and see how my hamstring goes - cracking climb on this race.
