Thanks Dashers, first time for me and really enjoyed it.
Definitely started a bit too fast - felt like I was going backwards up to the tower and was grateful later for the single track uphills for a chance to recover. Hope to return next year.

and Greg, you will be surprised how many people walk the path to the tower, it is a killer and I train on it about 3/4 times a week, never feels any easier!!

Please avoid parking on Punstock rd as we don't want to upset the residents, I will be at the bottom of the road preventing cars going up anyway but just in case you beat me there...

Brill, see you there mate. They've also filled in/stone covered the starting/finish track now as well as making it slightly wider and less dangerous for 200 metres or so, so the start shouldn't be as franticOriginally Posted by GregC
