Does anybody know anything about this race?

Is it the 'old' oldham half marathon course re-branded, re-packaged and re-priced for the new age?

Certainly the most difficult I have run; RR clocked 1300 feet on his blog report. Oldham deserves some plaudits too; great host town, friendly, slick organisation (even timing chips!!) , generous support from many locals, and suprisingly spectacular scenery. Nice race T shirt too (with Sharks teeth route profile plastered on the back for me to show off in this week's training). Next up Preston Half on Sunday, then Lancaster Half the week after.....a trio of Lancasshire Halfs.....has the makings of a mini series??
