    Default Aldi base layer

Aldi currently have a Crane Sports short-sleeved T-shirt which they describe as a 'camping base layer'.
Although I can't test it out at the moment - being injured, of course - it looks to me as if it'd work really well as a base layer for running too. It's a very light, silky polyester, olive-coloured for the men and lilac for ladies and Fell Ponies.

    Worth a punt at £3.99.

I got one of their long sleeved black base layer jobbies for the winter, cost me about £9 and it was great. Is great, I mean, but a bit warm for the summer.
