What an Epic,
Three hours of persistant rain greeted the 12pm starts. You couldnt see your feet let alone anything else. Roger had Dave Swift to thank for excellent navigation getting him round leg 1. Although Roger had to Swim the Caldew and Dave and his mate had to make for the bridge. So it went on with thick clag to contend with all the way round. Roger made it back to the moot with just 4 minutes to spare. excellent stuff from all involved. Congratulation Roger, great effort
Impressive round Roger: I'd never have got near getting round in those conditions. Eleven out of ten!

Top effort Roger, well done!
Do what you like, like what you do
Morning Campers,
That sounds bonkers - Roger that's a brilliant effort (could be the first duathlon of the BG if there was swimming involved?). With the likes of Dave Swift and Moorlander you were in good hands. Well done sir!

Thanks and I've only just settled down as my van broke down before leaving Keswick. Thanks to everyone who helped! They were awesome!
