    Anyone know if this is happening? I remember reading about it some time ago and thought it must be around now ...

    Yes, I think he has, but I've just emailed the organiser to tell him about the interest shown here, in case he needs to make use of it.

    Thank you for your interest. We do have agood number of pacers, mostly from Devon. What we lack is plenty of pacers with good knowledge of the Lakes. Also there is a possibility that any of the pacers could end up injured either before or during the Double Round so it is always good to have extra help.

    Good luck. We bumped into you on Kirk Fell at Easter (I think) when you told us about it. Awesome! Once round is plenty for me.

    Hope everything goes well & the weather is kind. Although this weekend's thick clag made navigation a little awkward at times, it kept the temperature down quite nicely.

    I met one of the pacers camping in the lakes the day before the Easter recce.
