Last week I completed a shorter version of my Fisherfield round, this time within 24 hours. I amended the route to make it more logical (and easier) with reduced mileage of just under 60 miles and 25500 feet of ascent. After a testing night and feeling pretty weary in the first half I improved and completed the round in decent shape in the end. This time Ian and Pauline Chartersgave very welcome road and bothy support which saved me carrying my food and spare clothing round. An amazing end over An Teallach pinnacles in a gale. I've written it up on my blog - http://longdistancechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/
