Stayed in Playa Alcudia a few years ago. Did various walks and a couple of runs cobbled together from the Rother walking guide, mallorca north and mountains tour and trail map 1:40000 (discovery walking guides) and just following my nose. These were in the eastern part of the Tramontana mainly.
First run then beer. If no run then proceed directly to beer.

(for anyone who wants to go to Mallorca with the intent of doing lots of walking / running, I can recommend Soller / Puerto Soller as a base - as it is right 'under' the Tramuntana, with good bus connections, but also beach etc. Pollensa / Alcudia are better for cyclists as you have direct access to the central plain there as well as the mountains.)

from Amazon & am now looking forward to getting lost/exploring in the mountains for a few hours ! The factor 50 is on standby...........
