    Free to a good home...

Kendal Asda of all places had the 2009 remasters of Neil Young's first four albums on sale for £12. I couldn't resist, so I now have old CD copies of After the Gold Rush and Harvest going spare. Reply here if you'd like them, PM me your address and I'll bung them in the post. We'll just gloss over how you've made it this far in life without them.

Do the remasters sound significantly better? - was tempted to buy them but thought it might be a bit of a con ....

Yeah, I think they (ATGR and Harvest) sound better, less compressed. Not a huge difference though. I bought the set as I didn't have his first two albums... don't think I'd have bothered just for the remastered sound quality as I can't say I'd noticed any problems with the original CDs.

I'd love to take them off your hands Hank, if no one else has ?

I have got them somewhere on vinyl but my record player broke a long time ago.
