Alas not much running for me, am stuck in a city centre at the minute, still on the last year of my degree so this time next year I will be back on the Island, when I intend to bike to work, get fit and hopefully start running again (if the shifts will allow). Am engaged to a Geordie lass too (who lives on Craggy Island now).

On the plus side when I get back I'm living in the middle of the country not too far from mountains and surrounded by plenty of fields where I can train!....

As for boiling heather, it might be something I need to consider, what with working for the NHS for free, though at the moment I usually find 10 minutes before closing time at tesco's can produce a reasonable meal for about 30p!!!.....
