Default I love my wife becasue ...

This morning steady run 10km, followed by 10-15min stretching in the front garden.
I step back home at 7:30 ready for shower, family breakfast, and 18km ride to work....

And the smell of the bestest apple and raisin cake welcomes me. Hard to believe but the taste was even better than the smell.

    Life is good.

Came back from 10 mile evening run 2 days ago with Martyn P and Mrs P feeling tired and hungry, there she was, waiting at home ready to start cooking a steak! God I love Mrs R.

This is one of the all time great points. I remember my immense frustration when my parents were just shrugging shoulder and saying "what's the problem? If you can't run just don't run. Simple". Probably the only thing worst than injury. My wife is full of understanding and compassion.

I have to be really hurt to get genuine sympathy. Her indoors prefers to be her outdoors, meaning unless I'm on the verge of selfdestruction stop whinging and get running up that hill/churning the big bike ring/swimming in that freezing North Sea/carrying that stupidly big rucksack a horribly long way.
