Just a reminder that the TTT is the weekend after next (6/7/8 July), with a new course for the long Saturday race - details will be released in the next few days, but we've taken inspiration from the FRA relays that we hosted in October in the area!

All runners will be kit checked.
Requirements to be confirmed on the day are full waterproof body kit, Inc gloves and hat or hooded top, map of area (O/L 30), compass and whistle.
Gel/emergency food recommended.
please do not drop any litter or climb any walls/fences unless flagged.
To start at camp site, GR971723
To follow flagged route all the way past Rain Slack Well,
To the gate at the fell above Providence Pot lead mines, GR992726 (the same we have used the past few years as finish section)
Then navigate to fence corner, Blackfell Scar/High Snout end GR017749, This is hidden, so use Blackfell sheep fold/fence as guides.
Through the stile.
Down to sheepfold GR023759 (above Angram).
Navigate to path/stile on Long Hill Syke GR009765. (On climb you may be able to see style on the horizon)
Path (which in places is vague but obvious) to Park Rash car park GR986756 (where there will be water),
Follow path back up to Gt Whernside trig GR001739,
Navigate back to gate GR992726, flagged back to finish at camping field. GR971723
This is a challenging route.

The TTT is taking place in Kettlewell this coming weekend, 6/7/8 July. In view of the weather conditions over the last few weeks, in particular the amount of rain that has fallen, and the ground conditions in and around Kettlewell, we have decided that the Saturday race in this year's TTT will follow the same course as last year. Grid references for the checkpoints are:

Checkpoint 1: Track gate (GR 970747)
Checkpoint 2: Road (GR 986757)
Checkpoint 3: Wall stile (GR 996752)
Checkpoint 4: Stream/fence junction (GR 012754)

Junior races will be held on Saturday afternoon.
