If you see my hubby Ian give him a cheer on :-) I'm his usual cheer leader No1 but I'm in Wales on a Postural Assesment course. You can't miss him, he has a tattoo of the muscle anatomy on his left leg :-)
This really does look a lovely course. Will be interesting to see the times of everyone. 1st section will suit the fell running climbers :-)

Thanks for that about the route. Looks like I'm in anyway. Looking forward to it. Intrigued to see how it goes with the strange elimination format! It's a good warm-up for Langdale anyway! Think I'll wear trail shoes as there seems to be quite a bit on tracks etc from what I can gather and I don't fancy running on much of that in X-Talons. Hope that's a wise decision.

Hello I'm new on here. Please bear with me while I find my way.

Does anyone know? if ,after the first eight mile ,we all re-group and start again.

No, you keep going till you are knocked out or get in the final 30men / 10women. Would be a bit chilly for the 1st through to wait for the final qualifier before he/she could start running again. I think that's right anyway :-)

I thinks the re-group would make a better race. In an all out race people are more or less in position after a few mile.
Never mind should still be fun, as long as the weather is kind. See ya's there.

The first section will see a lot of position changes. They have worked it out really well. The very beginning is a mad fell climb, then a brilliant fast ridge, a disengage the brain descent, another assent to favour the climbers then it's fun for all.
Don't know if they planned it so everyone has a chance of playing to their particular strengths during the first section bit if they did then IMO they got it right. Good luck to everyone :-)

It was a tough race, enjoyed it though. Very well worth the money.
