    Ashurst Beacon

Does anyone know the crack with this race? May be interested in giving it a go. I believe it is quite a flatish, fast course, is that correct?

    Any info would be great.

    Cheers

5.6 and 950ft so not too severe, I managed sub 40 mins and I descend like a lead ballon! Got caught out at the finish and was overtaken through the trees not knowing there was only 200m to go!
Its basically a cross country run but great fun. I'll be doing it again this year.

I wouldn't say flat but it is very fast. No real fell.
As far as I remember it starts downhill on a tarmac road.
There is a climb up to the main road which you run along for a short stretch.
Then down through some woods I think before a long uphill finish to Ashurst Beacon.
The best part last year was watching the football in the pub afterwards.
City beating United 3-1. Ronaldo was sent off for diving.
Diving in at Andy Cole that is.
