I think I'm going to go with join the FRA and then turn up to the events that I'm available for in the short term.
Unfortunately after many years of injury free fell walking I took a slip on Scafell Pike whilst doing the Three Peaks; so I've been on crutches for a week and hobbling round like Gollum for another week while the elepahntiasis and bruising subsided. So I'm about ready now to go to the gym and jump on the cross trainer while I wait for my physio appointment.
I'm very annoyed and very embarrassed. I just hope I haven't introduced a weakness that will cause me to turn it regularly.
