When I sold my place I just waited and let it go through at its own speed. It wasn't costing me anything more if it took 6 weeks or 6 months. I have better things to stress over. Ajohns, if you are looking for a place to buy to let out then buy my place off me. Things are slow with my type of property due to the fact that some joker keeps building loads of them in stalybridge centre. (But they are easy to let out.)

I'm at the start of this process and already naffed off!! LOL.. Estate Agents a waste of my money and the viewers now want gold and diamonds thanks to all the DIY programms and make a buck quick on property that're on blinkin TV

I think your right though.. I'm going to take the stance of it will sell when it's ready and if it doesnt sell I'll have to just think about some other options like keeping it and renting it out

If anyone wants a house in Bolton - LOL!

mine's been on the market for 3.5 months and only 1 viewing so far- so like RR I'll just be patient -no real rush except the longer it takes the greater the likelihood of selling for a reduced price.

mine is more or less sold - or more or less not sold, depends what happens in next couple of days. We are all out on Friday whatever happens.

Buyer is ( in very polite terms) trying it on at the last minute. Could all go tits up

Well - whatever will be will be

    Re: Buying and Selling houses

We bought our 1st house last year after about 6 months of searching and 100 viewing.
The nightmare was the estate agents. All of them. I will never believe more miserable people exist, possibly apart from mortgage "advisors".
    Everything else was fine.
