Some massive claims in their advertising supposedly backed up by some pretty legendary ultra runners, has anyone used it and had or noticed any good effects or just more hype and something else to take in a morning ?

Goodness me these are a pricey range of products! Eat oily fish several times a week and you will get all the omega 3 you need - and plant derived omega 3 are actually totally different molecules from that found in fish - and it is only the fish variety that has been shown to be beneficial in some but not all studies. It is hard not to get more than enough omega 6 in a modern western diet - butter/most types of margarine/sunflower oil/olive oil are full of it. I doubt this product is harmful, except of course to the wallet, but anybody who eats fish regularly probably will not benefit from it.

I suppose it depends on what benefit you are hoping to get from it. I was recommended by a GP to get more 'fish oil' to help with joint mobility (to be more specific, Sacroilliac joint flexibility). She didnt tell me a brand, but said to have a look around at see what components they contain. I was told to look for Omega-3, EPA & DHA content. After actually looking, the variance in what different manufacturers contained was absolutely huge. The next time i saw her, she said that was the exact point of the exercise, not to just go and buy a product based on advertising or claims.
Hope this helps
