Looks quite interesting, I might have to seek approval from SWMBO (& arrange a day-off) to do it
Generally to be found plodding along with 'www.ackworthroadrunnersandac.co.uk'

40? You're keen. I'm up for the 20 as a last long, slow run before the Kielder Marathon.

Is the elev gain correct on their maps? Seems a little low at 1200-ish feet.

Although there is plenty of flattish running around the reservoirs, and having run on most of the FRR route on various occasions I'd agree that is a little low too - as a wild guess and looking at my Garmin stats for other runs in the valley I'd say closer to 1700ft.

Sadly (especially as Washburn valley is one of my favourite low level running areas) I'm not running this event due to lack of mileage in last couple of months.

Have a good day all and enjoy your 'double' Jez!

Is this an easy to follow course? I've got a map of the area. Do I need to bring it?
