    Auld Lang Syne

Entry forms are now up here http://woodentops.org.uk/index.php?topic=als

But don't post them to arrive before 1 November or Dave might bin them/feed them to a dog/put them to the back of the queue for a week or so ...

Will the forum moderators please not merge this with the thread for previous years' races. Thank you.

Thanks Paul, one way is to put your entry through Dave's letter box on 1st November. That way you are guaranteed it's got there and you can use £5 in cash which takes out the hassle of doing a cheque. You could even get someone from your club to get multiple entries entered.

Like many others, mine will be posted today

First timer at this particular event, as I usually end up working most of the day during NYE, but not this year:thumbup:

I have only done one previous race. The Bronte way last Sunday. Is this a suitable race for a beginner who knows the area quite well? I thoroughly enjoyed that and this would be a different way to celebrate my 33rd birthday.

How soon will the 400 places go? Would it be best to post through the door as I work in keighley?

Sorry for what may seem like daft questions from a newbie.

No such thing as a daft question in my world! It's a great race and wonderful atmosphere - if you did the Bronte you'll be great on this.
If you can pop it through Dave and Eileen's door you'll know it's got there - do it soon though!
    See you there!

Will definately enter this then. Bronte Way was tough but fun so hopefully will feel the same after this.

Are there any known comments from Eileen & Daves postman concerning the amount of post they get every year, with 'ALS' entries???

Anybody have any idea as to whether my day early entry will be accepted ? Not sure whether to pop another through his letterbox !!
