Time to go for a run .....
In the unsung hero award category we have
In joint third place Dave Woodhead, Brett and Britta. Three very good choices for obvious reasons in my opinion.

But the award for unsung hero 2012 (I know the suspense must be killing you all and you’re on the edges of your settees) goes to
Wheeze
So congratulations to Wheeze he is indeed a great poster and deserves this recognition as he's been hanging out around these parts for years.

reckon it's a dead heat so he's having to do a recount....
Congrats to Wheeze:thumbup:
Who's this Merrylegs character and who's daft enough to vote for him
Hills and Guinness!
Now for thread of the year time
In joint third place with 3 votes each we have the Border collie well trained thread, the Fell running blogs thread and the 50 shades of fell running thread…… All very worthy winners in my opinion

On its own in second place we have the Lance, support or not thread. The way that thread unfolded did make it a cracking read.
But in first place with a landslide victory it’s the Darren Holloway (Pennine) thread. I didn't know Darren personally, but the thread definitely showed the best of the forum and ensures that he will remain part of this forum so long as the forum exists
Welll done the forum
