Argo: an excellent American film. Hollywood does not do better than this.
The Master: enigmatic, memorable and a film which you may not enjoy but, if you care about cinem, you will need to have seen.
On The Road: interesting but flawed; more Hollywood than Kerouac.
Lawless: if you have seen a lot of movies you have seen what goes into this one, but it does what it does very well.
Anna Karenina: Leo Tolstoy could write but Keira Knightly cannot act. Unfortunately this is a movie (and one which visibly ran out of money)
