The starting price is too high....

We need some fun building the excitement up and gawping at the final selling price.

The Ron Hill books has been re-entered at £70.00 after it couldn't sell for £90.00

So how did he get hold of it then?
and will the successful bidder make it available for interested readers to visit his 'library' to enjoy it ?

Libraries sell off reference books periodically. He probably got it for 50p.

They have to get rid of the books to make more space for CDs DVDs etc. Time will come when libraries dont actually have any books.

id be surprised if this book was sold off
when i located one in new milton through the library i was told there was only 3x copies in circulation through the british library database , 2 weeks later mine arrived and i loaned it out .
    this was last year remember
i ask the librarian how much would it cost if i accidentally lost it
the reply was £100, so they must know an approx value
if its been nicked from a library it should be returned

    Daz,

I know someone who got one from a library sale about 8 years ago for 5 bob (25p for youngsters) so they were selling them at one time.

    Cheers, Ali

There's also a copy for sale from the US on Abe Books at

It'll be interesting to see if that guy's copy on E Bay matches the £200 price tag this has
