    Just inherited Lucy, she is 10 and loves bouncing over the rough stuff, but isn't up to huge mileage :thumbup:

    Haven't got a Patterdale or Border but close, a Lakeland Terrier called Lottie, great to run with (on the lead as she's a big sheep fan!!) did 12 miles with her the other day, good company rather than running alone, she just trots along, she jumps to a fair height 5-6 foot from standing which drives the missus to distraction and wants to 'help' with everything you're doing but like all terriers is great fun as I'm sure the Border/ Patterdale will be, pups are brilliant:thumbup:

    Is this just an excuse for people to post pictures of their dog regardless of breed, or do they have to be terriers?

    Agree... dogs good for the soul and generally hilarious to live with
