Great news for the cycling boys!! Not seen the full list! I've become a bit anti the old honours list in recent years. I think it needs a re-vamp somehow. I don't really like people getting the knighthoods when still in their prime and competeing. Still confused as to why Kelly Holmes became a dame on the back of two golds!?All the 'British Empire' stuff is a bit dated too I think. But hey! Good luck and well done one and all!!

Agnes Leask was one of the most notable, something real. Great for Bradley, although really thought our Kate Bush would have been a Dame.
'Take the Long Way Home'
Please for all who are on the list.
Must be nice to get an award for doing your job when it happens to be a sport.
I actually thought better of Wiggins.
Mind you, i don't think the establishment would have been too impressed with the reaction, "i'll probably just keep it in the drawer....and not use it in everyday life"
I have to say, though, it's utter bullshit..... it's 2012

Sir Wiggo of the Shire....its got a nice ring to it
It's only a hill. You'll get over it.
I have just decided that the first names on the next New Years Honours list should be those of the British Cave Divers, who have used their considerable expertise and bravery, in the extraction of those young footballers and their coach from the caves in Thailand.
I must be getting soft in my old age, as I felt tears running down my cheeks when watching news of the rescue this lunchtime!
Proper heroes.
