really enjoyed this one, as stated the same as auld lang syne with a different loop at the top. Only a plodder, 68.12 but had a great time, especially the wind assisted return !! and have already enjoyed my malt loaf..yum tum

Thank you to the organisers and marshalls, who very patiently waited around for those of us at the back of the race.
Your support was much appreciated especially in the face of strong and bitterly cold winds.
Did Mrs Millipeed do the splash today???? how are you feeling?
Really enjoyed that today, and likewise would wish to extend my thanks to Marshalls and organisers who made the day so successful.
Tried to find the pub afterwards, but my sat nav ran out of battery and I was peeing my pants about finding my way home.
Apologies to the poor fellow who fell right in front of me and had to take the barrage of my weight landing upon his lower back. He seemed to take it all in good jest.
I shall have to practice my stream crossings also though I imagine I ll be picking thorns out of my left hand for the next few days.
Really enjoyable day.....howling gale or not.

The wind made it hard going, although I think that the youngsters bore the worst of it above the quarry.
One shorter K&C lady very effectively let a tall man shelter her on the run out, she was rignht on his heels.
Bit shattered tonight despite a slow time!
Kids enjoyed themselves with two first places - although they were the only ones in their races. Plenty of chocolate hidden in bedrooms tonight.
are the results up for this does anyone know?
They normally arrive within a week or so.
1). ian holmes
