I thought there was very few runners training where I do, a segment on one of my regular runs has 35 people on it!

It can be great fartlek training, just chose a route with lots of segments on it.

Its also brought to my attention some locals who are seriously fast, if one of them goes for your KOM you've had it

I use sporttracks to record all my runs and then export to strave

I'm in. It'll soon be obvious how little training I do .
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.

Can I export to Strava from Garmin Connect? If so it should be a doddle.

Just uploads straight from the widget thingy... I don't think you have to go to Garmin first..

I have loads of runs in RunKeeper, I exported them to gpx files then used the Upload Activity (top right corner of Strava) to upload a selection of them to Strava.

I haven't used Garmin connect but there should be an option to export as a gpx and upload that to strava

Well that's me joined, been registered on strava for a while now but not used it so will give me some incentive to use it now.

I quite like the look of this. I was reading about Strava the other day so its nice to see its being used by fellrunners. I'm off to have a look for any KOMs around Kendal!
