Urgent. As you have club runners who run in the Rivock Edge Fell Race, I would be grateful if you can post this notice
After discussions with the FRA, I have had to cancel the race because of access issues (snow) to a large part of the course and safety issues..
Also since the race is set out on the day before the race by Explorer Scouts (who run the race), I have a duty of care to them including spectators and runners to ensure the race is run as safe as possible.
The FRA have agreed to this course of action. This is being posted on to the FRA web site this afternoon
I thank you for your interest in the race which will now be run later this year
