In case anyone is interested, I'm thinking of staying at the Cwm Pennant Hostel tomorrow night after Moel Hebog, and go reccying on Sunday. I phoned the hostel: no need to book for this weekend.

Just saw this thread having attempted just this route last Tuesday!! Didn't know there was a race around it!! Unfortunately I can't go next week! Next year maybe..!?
