    Magnificent. Absolutely magnificent.
I did Ennerdale last weekend - this is far more impressive.
Wonderfully organised and a warm and cozy atmosphere. A great day out.
    Thanks.

Agree. Welsh races are like that always!
Many thanks to all who worked hard for this splendid race.
For many years I dreamt for such a race joining the Nantlle Ridge with the Hebog group. This was a dream come true!

I'll second both of those posts, the North Wales scene is very low-key and friendly, and the route today was awesome, so a very big thank you to Math and all the helpers.

Congratulations on a well organised race yesterday Math.

The ground covered was impressive and varied and all new to me, a classic in the making. Looking forward to next year already (to iron out a couple of little route choice errors).

Well marshalled and marked, a jura-esque feel to it with the race along the road to finish.

    A grand day out! Cheers!

    Re: Cwm Pennant Horseshoe

Here's the next Nantlle Ridge offering, tuesday night's Ras Tal y Mignedd:

"For those of you who ran the Pedol Pennant on Saturday and didn't feel you spent suffice time on the Nantlle Ridge, then Tuesday's inaugural running of Ras Tal y Mignedd will once again allow you to reach the summit's giant obelisk. Another classic race in the making, the route is a simple out and back and considerably longer than most Tuesday evening races of recent years. Starting at the farm at Tal y Mignedd Isaf the route will follow the farm track for 0.8 miles before violently ascending a goliath 1600ft in just over a mile. On tapping Queen Victoria's obelisk the the route returns along the same kamikaze descent before arriving back at the farm. Estimate winning time is 37 minutes 45 seconds. There will also be under 8 / 10 / 12 and 14 junior races.

Once again the farmers of the Nantlle Valley are being extremely welcoming and the farmer's wife will be serving a collection of hot drinks, refreshments and cakes before and after the race. All proceeds will go to the local Ysgol Baladeulyn."
