A big black inov8 bumbag as well as a white Orea cap were left behind at the race on Saturday, get in touch if it's yours.

Thanks, Math and all the marshals etc., from the Dark Peak Carshare League travellers. A fine time had by all, and a very fine route indeed. What's more, we may have only been the second team from Derbyshire (well run Glossopdale), but we were still the first team from Yorkshire, which is all that really counts

Thanks for sharing Lynne, very enjoyable read and the photos brought back memories of a brilliant day out on the fells. It's great when yourself and Tim blog the races....I drift back to the fells reading your reports in my break time, cheers.

    Hi Math.

Firstly sorry it's taken this long to reply. I don't get onto the forum as often as I should.

Thanks to you and all the marshalls bearing smiles, nourishment and encouragement who contributed to a fine, tough race in superb surroundings. The only downside being a poor effort from me personally. I was a bit spaced out at the end and unclipped my bumbag as I sat down opposite the finish table, then I think, left it there. In it were a yellow jacket, green over trousers, two empty gel sachets, whistle and map of the course in a bag. My Preston Harrier club mate also left a white hat. I was wondering if you would mind meeting up at a convenient point to hand them over possibly when you next head north? I don't know when I will be back down in Wales. Otherwise, I could arrange payment if you could post them back. Whatever is least hassle for yourself.

I'd be grateful, thanks again Math.

For those of you interested, next years Pedol Cwm Pennant has been pushed forward a week to the 20th June. This is due to the British champs at Durisdeer being on the previous weekend (i.e. the original race weekend), and myself and many others will want to race there. The other option was the 30th May - but this clashed with Duddon - another champs race with the same reasons!

Hopefully if all goes to plan for 2016 it'll be back to the original date with slightly more importance attached to it.
