Mistresses

I was due to go away with work to some far off place next week but can't because i've been clever enough to snap my elbow and wrist which is taking ages to heal properly.

Instead, my boss is going in my place. Because it's several thousand miles away I was thinking of taking the mrs. I asked him the same (about his mrs); his response was: "f**k that i'm taking the mistress.

This bloke is from Leeds, West Yorkshire. As i'm getting wiser i'm discovering the farther up the M62 you go, the stranger people get.

I asked around at work and it turns out he actually does have a mistress.

Am I naive or this the acceptable?

For me there is no way whatsoever I would cheat on the mrs and male chauvinism gets on my tits.

I would rather get it chopped than cheating my wife. Not because she is the bestest woman in the universe ever. But also because I owe her.
She left her parents, house, friends, job, country, everything, and come to live in places 1000s of miles away that she had never even seen before, where she did not even know the language, just for me.

What if the spouse finds out (please, let's not be naive pretending she will not) and falls into depression and takes her life?
