Re: I tried to list my favouri

    Beatles - White Album
    Pearl Jam - Ten
Electric Boys - Funk-o-metal carpet ride
    Elbow - Seldom Seen Kid
    Paul Simon - Paul Simon
    Beatles - Revolver
Faith No More - The real thing
    Nirvana - Bleach
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
    Beck - Odelay

I'm probably missing some fantastic ones.

Danbert your album collection must bear considerable resemblance to mine!

    The Clash - The Clash
    The Clash - London calling
    The Clash - Sandinista
The Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks
Jimmy Cliff - The Harder They Come
The Pogues - Rum, Sodomy and The Lash
    Lee Scratch Perry - Arkology
    Nirvana - Nevermind
    The Doors - The Doors
    the Beatles - Rubber Soul

and the bonus would have to be a compilation of the sort of dance we used to jump around to eyes pointing in different directions in Manchester when I were younger - albums not really being the point in this genre

oh god, no Led Zep, Hendrix, Dead Kennedys, Butthole Surfers, Bob Marley, Psychedelic Furs, Burning Spear, Jam, or Johny Cash in there - it could drive a fellow mad trying to get it right

    hmmm...
I honestly tried really hard to get down to 10, but I couldn't pick another one to drop after I got down to 11:

    Ricochet - Tangerine Dream
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - Sarah McLachlan
    Reign In Blood - Slayer
Pretty Hate Machine - Nine Inch Nails
    Floodland - Sisters Of Mercy
    Ten - Peal Jam
    Nevermind - Nirvana
    Undertow - Tool
    Powerage - ACDC
To Bring You My Love - PJ Harvey
Love And Hate In Dub - Godflesh
Scramble the rock face through the glare of morning sun — to run

Master of Puppets - Metallica, the greatest Metal album ever released
    Reign in Blood - Slayer,
Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden
    Leviathan - Mastodon
    Rancid-Rancid
And the Circus Leaves Town - Kyuss
King of the Road - Fu Manchu
In Casino Out - At the Drive In
New Day Rising - Husker Du
    Alexisonfire - Alexisonfire

And those are the ones I could remember, there's an awful lot of good music out there to compete with numbers 6-10 though.

Re: I tried to list my favouri

From a quick think, these are ones that I'd always be happy to put on...

Kings of Leon – Youth and Young Manhood
Kings of Leon – Aha Shake Heartbreak
Kings of Leon – Because of The Times
    Arcade Fire – Funeral
    Nirvana – Unplugged
Arctic Monkeys – Whatever People Say I Am…
    Radiohead – OK Computer
Radiohead – Hail to the Thief
    Radiohead – In Rainbows
The Walkmen – Bows and Arrows (worth it just for Thinking of a Dream I Had)

Bonus extra choice: Blur - Think Tank
