I've always used energy bars before and sandwiches cut into bite sized pieces.
but fancied a change and few new ideas. Like the baby boiled potatoes and pizza ideas.

Don't eat a Jelly Baby (Blackcurrant as I recall) and a sachet of salt at the same time, it seemed like a good idea at the time, it isn't
Romney's did actually offer me a free supply of mint cake after I sent them a photo of me in my KMC t-shirt finishing my Joss Naylor round a couple of years ago. I decided to stay an amateur, so no-one would think I was promoting the stuff in my own interest. If you see anyone in Romney's KMC t-shirt it'll be me, as I only got 2 printed (with permission) & they both live in my chest of drawers.

Might be time to give this Kendal Mint Cake a whirl, not tried that.

another vote for kendal mintcake from me too! I was given an emergency supply by a friend when travelling around India a few years back and it was a godsend. I've since used it sporadically when running and every time I remember to carry some, I always wonder why I don't make it my 'must have' emergency food. It really refreshes your palate when you get sick of sweet (and savoury) stuff and the mintiness somehow wakes you up and makes you feel more alert.

A lot of pro cyclists eat rice cakes. If you check out you tube you will find a recipe for savoury rice cakes which look tasty.
