    Salomon Fellraiser

Anybody wearing these at the moment? If so, how are they? I've been using Speedcross for a while now because my Achilles has been giving me a bit of grief and my Inov8's are just a wee bit flat for every day running. Personally, my only gripe with the Speedcross shoes is that they could do with being a tad lighter and a bit more breathable. I prefer to run without socks.

Here's a review from Castleberg outdoors.
They look good, I'm quite tempted to order a pair myself and at £85 not silly money.

I've had a pair for a few weeks and really like them. Good aggressive outsole, comfortable, flexible, relatively light. I describe them as a lower drop Speedcross or a Sense Mantra with with more grip. I ended up with size 11 compared to 10.5 in their Fellcross and 10 in the Sense shoes. They just felt a bit tight across the toebox. Whether they would have been is the sort of thing you can't know in a store. I can run well in them so all is good.

    Well that's Santa's list sorted...

I will be on these, I love the speedcross. I hope they haven't slimmed the shoe though like they did with the Fellcross, they were noticeably more narrow then the SC. £85 is a keen price too, the FC was over £100 which put it out of the reach of most of us, I wonder how many they sold. Good move by Salomon bringing this shoe out....

The drop on the SC is 11mm so they are lovely and cushioned so bringing it down to 6mm is a good transition to a lower shoe for me...in this age where we seem to be preoccupied with drop...

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm seriously tempted myself now. Just to let you know, they're going for £76 at the moment on Sportshoes.com .

Bloody typical. I paid £85 for mine. The perils of being an early adopter I guess.

Just bought a pair of fellraiser myself last weekend from field & trek in Keswick for £74. Looking forward to trying them out on the fell this weekend.

Picked sum up last week from Accelerate and got a free hat. Was impressed with them even trying them on. Top shoe, my new fave and I have had a few good runs out in them last week. Must say the laces system is brilliant even thoughvI was baffed at first..
