Just a quicky question.
Has anybody done the Bob Graham in exclusively bare feet? By barefoot I DON'T mean wearing minimalist shoes!
The whole thing completely barefoot?
Thanks

Scratch did... not sure if anyone else has.
Be interesting to read an account of it if such a thing exists.

Scratch isn't good with a pen....
Scratch is a dog I'm guessing
The only candidate for even contemplating anything like that would be Keswick's Colin Valentine. He once ran the (now defunct?) "5 Ridges of Blencathra" race, all barefoot, back in the 80's.
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!
Nonsense, Scratch is fine with a keyboard

I know i won't be making an attempt barefoot next time, it was bad enough last time with shoes on. My feet are still sore from then.
Aye Stolly.. Long dogs was talking about taking her dogs around it I think..
Can't imagine a human would fare well... 20 + hours on rocks....
Who is this scratch? Is he/she actually a dog.....
My dog is also pretty darn good without shoes....in fact i've learnt an awful lot from her. I like the way dogs always run light and always take a great line over rough ground.
Is Colin Valentine still around? Does anybody know how to contact him?
