UTMB Qualifying races??

Hi
Im considering going for the UTMB but im 1 point short of the minimum 7. I was wondering if anyone knows any good races over the next 6 months that would take me over the margin. Currently have 6 points, 4 from the Bob Graham in July and 2 from the UB40 in December (2012). Im based near manchester so anything in the NW would be ideal. Thanks in advance

RRR50 has some UTMB points. If you live near Manchester, Rotherham might feel quite glamorous

Don't see why not. I reckon I'd much rather do UTMB than Coniston Gullies

I am having similar thoughts (at least vaguely and in my more deranged moments) and am also at 6 points. I've been thinking of the MCN Brecon 40 http://www.mightcontainnuts.com/even...ltra_four.html which gives the extra point required, 2 in fact. Bit of a haul down to Brecon though, I'm also in Manchester

I suppose it's not been around long enough, but I would have thought it was worth at least a point. As for the Brecon 40 - twice I've driven down from Warrington on the Friday afternoon and it's well worth the trip.

The high peak 40 will give you the point on sept 21st. Reet on your doorstep :-)
