Is there a map of the course?
The best one is imbedded in the website link below, the course goes anticlockwise round the rocks. If your reccying the finish is on a little path on the left approx 100m past the big u bend through the trees, it goes past a solitary tree then finishes in a clearing near some rocks.

    Hi Mapper,

Yes its a cracking descent and exactly a mile from the top gate to the finish. I reckon Shaun and Darren Kay were sub 5 for that mile last year they were flying. Hopefully the rain will stay away.

    Hi All,

Please bring a waterproof top, hat and gloves. If the weather isnt good you may need to carry these items.

    Thanks

What a great little mid-weeker, very fast very runnable and perfect to dust the 3P legs off.

Great little race. It seemed to be over too quickly ~ although for some it was over even quicker!
It's the first time I've been up that area, but it was very interesting with many footpaths and bridleways.
Car parking didn't seem an issue, so well done to Dan & his helpers ~ well organised.
Finished it all off with a nice pint of TT Landlord in te Staff of Life.
I'll be back next year :-)

Thanks to all helpers, the race couldn't happen without you. We are hoping to give £150 to a local cancer hospice if anyone knows a suitable one please shout.

Glad everyone seemed to enjoy the route, its where i grew up and I like the fact i am introducing the area to others.

Results are attached, please email any errors.

    Race Report to follow.
