Pick any of the short races in the Peak and you will find they are usually low key and well organised with marshals and way markings at crucial points.

Some are more popular than others. Longshaw is likely to attract between 50-80 folk depending if it clashes with anything else. Expect a winning time of over 40 minutes and the last person home will probably take well over an hour. It's a great part of the peak and there should be nothing too steep. Starting in the middle of the pack should give you an idea of the pace - walking the steep bits is all part of it on most races so don't fret about doing that.

Tommy if you do any kind of running you will not come last. Enjoy
