A Fell race on Pendle to celebrate the lives of those local runners who have sadly passed away doing the sport they loved.

3.32m 1007ft climbing AS fell race.

£1 from each entry goes to the building and maintenance of the memorial Stone (on top of the largest climb) year after year. We have just had permission to rebuild the stone and actually place it within the wall.

The race honours Alan Heywood and Judith Taylor ran for Clayton Harriers. Unfortunately both lost their life pursuing the challenges they love.

As the race moves on year after year the fund will be used for local charities chosen by the families of the bereaved.

Tough Fell Race, but really good footing for running, fully flagged and marshalled route, with sweepers back.

All abilities welcome.
