    Fell Running Training Schedule

You read in magazines and on the web of training schedules for all the various road races. Is there any for fell running any where.

Or can anyone make any suggestions for what a schedule should contain to train 5 times a week for events upto approx 15 miles. I'm currently doing a long run, a hill sprint session, a speed session and a tempo run, but i want to have a bit more direction and organisation added in to it because i have hit a bit of a plateau.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be useful

A bit more direction and organisation... bloody hell!
Tao begets one. One begets two. Two begets all things.

There's a few off road running books around,

    Sarah Rowell's is pretty good.

I'd try and get a second longish run in every week - sacrifice one of the tempo / speed / hill sessions if you're limited to 5 runs a week.

no have a two recoveries a week

    Mon - Club night (speed)
    Tues - Rest
    Wed - Hill Sprints
    Thurs - Tempo
    Fri - Rest
Sat - Long (over the hills)
Sun - Recovery Run - (more of a short 3 mile jog)

.......I'm no where near the front doing this let alone winning
