    Spanish Ultra in November

I am organising a trip out to take part in a 80km Ultra in the Costa Blanca Mountains - very hilly (5,000metres ascent). There is also a 4km race as well. It takes place at the start of November when there is a full moon, so the night section should be amazing!

Cheap flights to Alicante are available. There are 4 of us heading out so far.

Entries open in July, But brief details are here - https://www.facebook.com/labdet

THE REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR THE STUNNING LURBEL CHALLENGE AITANA-PUIG CAMPANA IS OPEN ON JULY 15TH
The hardest race to date organised by Lurbel, is getting closer. It is also probably the hardest race on the national scenario. The registration process for the Lurbel Challenge Aitana-Puig Campana, which will take place on the 8th and 9th of November, will be open on July 15th in mychip.es.
The main event of this race, which will take place in the north of the Alicante province, is undoubtedly the ultra trail of 85 km with 5,500 m of elevation gain. Although there will be as well another race of 40 km with 2.500 m of elevation gain. There will be a maximum of 600 numbers for runners between both modalities.

Well done Linda. You did CVFR and Yorkshire proud. (And there weren't that many Murgatroyds to find among the finishers!)

Thank you! It was an amazing experience and the vertical kilometre climb at 12k really was something special. Luckily for us Brits, the weather didn't let us down. It was rainy and claggy in parts and not too hot either, perfect!
