Stopping on Anglesey for a week from 1st Aug. Other than Arenig Fawr,does anyone know of any races on within an hour's drive. Have done a N Wales evening race in past at Aber ( May) but can't seem to find anything on the net.Ta

The only other one I know of is Ponderosa on the 6th nr Llangollen. Short and sharp, gets a good turnout. Starts and climbs up a track and then a descent along a very narrow track (so you have to get a good position on the climb) winding itseld down and around before finishing up a steep climb.
