    Pennine Way in 5 days?

This summer, we tried to run the Pennine Way (or at least a slightly straightened out version) in five days. We had a lot of laughs, steaks and beers, and ran 180 of our expected 240ish miles. Here's a write up on the Pennine Fell Runners' blog of a (too) relaxed approach to ultra distance challenges...

I've posted it here as there's some useful logistical considerations that would be useful for any parties attempting it more seriously than we did. Not quite a Pennine Way "tick" but a top outing nonetheless.

It's a fantastic write up Duncan. If I could've got the time off work I would have liked to run a good chunk of the last day with you.
