What a cracking race to end our sun filled weeks holiday on the North York coastline. Steep track descent soon brings us to running along the Cleveland Way with breathtaking views towards Robin Hoods Bay, at times we are literally running a metre from the cliff edge. Then it's a steep country lane road climb, steep as in really steep, and we hit the moor side for more hands on knees climbing. Along the tops bypassing the trig point and a steady descent down a rutted track and fields before a short climb back to the National trust centre. Good race on a lovely evening of which I was happy with 2nd place and a very generous presentation ( bottle of wine and a box of milk tray), many thanks to the National Trust guys for all their efforts.
