    Anglesey Coastal Path

Has anyone run this all the way?

If so how long did it take and was it as straight forward as it would appear re nav.

Also there seems to be one estuary where the path stops - did you therefore have to follow lanes in land to get round the estuary?

    Any other useful info?

Info about the route can be found here. I've not run it but it could be one for the three coastpath-ateers* in the future. I think that there's actually an ultra race of a lap of Anglesea too, but to do a coastpath "properly" really requires lots of swimming stops, beach combing, tea shops and pubs, none of which fit in with a 'do it all in one dollop' ultra.

*In the past three years, me, Hester and Harry and coastpathed the Pembrokeshire coastpath, the north Cornish coast and just recently the south Cornish coast. We tend to run/yomp with backpacks and camp on our way round, usually covering 18 to 20 miles a day.

This is basically the Ring o' Fire race which I'm attempting in 3 weeks. It splits the path into 3 days of running, 30 miles, 70 miles and 30 miles approx. There are maps of the route on the website (although this year's race is full).

The land at the end of our toes goes on and on and on.
