Get an "A" cat race set up and trailed and put it forward.

I feel sure everyone would enjoy the trip up.

Edale Skyline was a counter last year.

Thanks for answering my question. Just wondered as it ticked the boxes am earlier poster proposed of not being summer season & not being a Lakes long. On a purely selfish level, I'd like to see it included next year as it's close to home

I had also wondered if any of the short guides/BOFRA races might be included as a short? Has this happened in recent history? Just interested to learn a bit more about the championship history, not trying to speculate.

Well if you do the maths then the Edale Skyline comes out as a BL, but it's graded AL... So, kind of!

somebody up there needs to get the Kielder Borderer back on

I did it on it's most recent running in 2011 and it would make an AWESOME champs race

I believe Buckden Pike, which was included last year, is a BOFRA race.

It's not my personal opinion, but might most of the rest of what would be cat A races a bit short (and therefore congestion a possible issue) for a champs race? Burnsall would be a nightmare for example!

They're also in the BOFRA championships....

Thanks for filling in the gaps in my knowledge there. I've only been racing just over a year, hence the interest. Imagined that the short BOFRA races would get congested if 350+ turned out for a championship race. Makes sense that the two championships might be kept separate. Still not had the chance to do a BOFRA race, hopefully next year.

Apologies for posting off-topic - I've no idea which races might be included, if you hadn't already guessed!

Buckden is organised by Graham Wadsworth of Barlick fell runners. It's not a Bofra either.
